Hey guys! I want to kick things off today with a cover reveal of Snapshots by my friend Patricia Lynne. Patricia's first novel, Being Human, came out last year, and Snapshots is due out this July. I love the cover for Being Human - it's simple, but really striking. And now for the cover of Snapshots...

Isn't it cool? Again, simple, but striking and eye-catching. Plus the synopsis gets me really curious and excited:
My name is Cyclop Blaine and I am a real person. “You are mine.” I am a real person: heedless of a childhood spent under the supervision of an old man I only know as Master. “You belong to me.” I am a real person: regardless of my teenage years bound by violence as the adoptive son of the Victory Street Gang's leader. “You will obey me.” I am a real person: despite the visions I see in others' eyes. I've been seriously stalled with my reading lately. The month is almost over and I've only read two books. Two. I cringe just typing that. I've been in a rut lately with my reading and writing, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding motivation. I'm hoping to get over it soon because I have a ton of books to read, and a book to finish writing!

WRITING:
Despite the writing rut, I managed to get about 7,000 words written between Monday and Tuesday. I was so proud of myself - that's the most I've written in ages. Book #2 is coming along nicely - I passed the 90,000 word mark on Tuesday, and I'm thinking there are just 3-4 more chapters to write. I was hoping to keep up the momentum yesterday, but it just didn't happen. And, although I'm not even finished writing the book yet, I'm already stressing over the book cover. I have absolutely no clue what I want for the cover, and I don't know whether to design it myself, like I did with Blue Sky Days, or find someone else to design it. Problem with that is I can't really afford it. *sigh* I guess I should concentrate on actually getting the book finished first, right? haha
