It's Monday, What Are You Reading? #9

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is hosted by Book Date. The idea is to share what you've read lately, what you're currently reading, and what you plan to read next. I love seeing what other people are reading and then adding to my never-ending TBR, so I thought this would be a fun meme to participate in each week!

Hello and happy May, book lovers! I can't believe we're already four whole months into 2017. This year is going by so fast. I'll have my April Recap up on the blog at some point this week, but for now, here's what I've been reading since my last Monday post.

What I Finished Reading:
  • It Happened on Love Street by Lia Riley ~ This was a super cute and funny contemporary romance. You can find the link to my review below.
  • That Thing We Call a Heart by Sheba Karim ~ This was a cute coming-of-age story about a Pakistani-American girl dealing with first love, friendship, and family. It comes out next week, and my review will be up around release day.
What I'm Currently Reading:
  • A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas ~ I'm trying to finish this in preparation for the release of book three tomorrow!
  • Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy ~ I'm really enjoying this coming-of-age story.

What I Plan to Read Next:
  • A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas ~ This one comes out tomorrow, and it's how I'll be spending the Chapters gift card a friend gave me recently!
  • The Chateau of Happily Ever Afters by Jaimie Admans ~ Jaimie was one of my first friends when I started blogging and decided to self-publish. I love her books, and it's been quite a while since she released a new one, so I'm really excited about this one.

Recently on the Blog:
What have you been reading lately? Have you read any of the books I've been reading? I'll be doing the rounds of fellow It's Monday! What Are You Reading? participants, but in case I miss you, be sure to leave a link below so I can visit you! Also, if you did a general weekly recap, feel free to leave a link so I can check it out!

  1. I would wonder how it's already May but then I remember just how busy I was in April. Saturday was my the junior to cadette bridging ceremony in San Francisco. My daughter and I are sore and sunburnt from our adventure but we had fun. Come see what I'm reading.

  4. I've been bad in April and didn't pick up anything. I played a lot of video games though.

  5. I still have to finish the series by Sarah Maas - I've started with it, but never finished it. Thanks for the reminder!

The Chateau of happily ever afters looks so nice. And what a great friend you are for reading and sharing! Sometimes it's all you need to spread your book around.

Happy reading week and here's my Library Card for May: http://marelithalkink.blogspot.co.za/2017/05/library-card-may-2017.html

  6. Starting ACOWAR tomorrow. I may not make it through the night! I liked Ramona Blue despite all the backlash it is getting (but who isn't getting backlash these days?).
