Ramblings of a Daydreamer: Fave NA Reads

I regularly see readers on social media looking for New Adult recommendations. Some of them love NA and want to read as much as they can, while others have never read any (or aren't sure if they have). Many people who haven't tried the category or don't like what they have read point out the negative things they've heard/encountered: there's too much emphasis on sex and not enough actual story, and a lot of the stories are the same. There is often a lot of sex in NA, and there are a lot of similar stories out there, but there's a lot of truly fantastic New Adult, too.

In case you're not sure what New Adult is: the technical age range is 18-25. For me, I define NA more as a feeling than an age range. It's the time in a person's life where everything is changing. It's a time when a person experiences more freedom than they ever have before. It's a time for making decisions, making mistakes, taking risks, trying new things, exploring possibilities, relationships, sexuality, etc. I love reading about that time of transition and exploration, which is why I love NA so much.
